MERTON HOUSE
Located on Merton Lane at the edge of Hampstead Heath, this five-bedroom family house was originally designed in 1970. The client approached us to completely redesign the property and update it for modern living while preserving its distinctive character. The house is notably spacious, offering ample room for family activities and comfortable living.
We oversaw all phases of this project, beginning from the earliest RIBA stages through to final completion and handover. Our comprehensive approach ensured that every aspect of the redesign was meticulously planned, coordinated, and executed. From concept development and feasibility studies to construction oversight, we guided the project through each step of the RIBA Plan of Work.
A key part of our work involved redesigning the surrounding landscape to harmonize with the house’s new aesthetic. We curated plant selections in close consultation with the client, ensuring that the choice of foliage reflected their personal taste and lifestyle needs. Thoughtful irrigation solutions were incorporated to maintain healthy vegetation and enhance the overall appeal of the property’s outdoor spaces.
